Our innovative, international client seeks a Business Analyst to support part of the European business area. Reporting to the European Controller, this is a challenging and interesting role that will develop and manage business analysis systems and reports that allow management to monitor short and long term financial performance and to optimise profitability contribution. Responsibilities are wide ranging and include budgeting and forecasting, commercial analysis, revenue recognition and pricing. There will be responsibility for one report to coordinate credit collection and business analyses. This role would suit an experienced Management Accountant, either CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified, or qualified by experience. In addition to the essential commercial acumen and experience, important attributes will include the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across Europe and the UK and the capability to manage workload and expectations. The ideal candidate will be self motivated and have a willingness to learn and proactively take on new responsibility. As this is a medium to large company, an international accounting background would be advantageous, as would strong IT skills, particularly SAP, Excel (advanced) and SQL Query.
