A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior HR Professional to join a hugely successful company with bases in Norfolk and on the south coast. The company operates in the leisure and travel industry and has twenty of its own centres, hotels and chateaux around Europe turning over in excess of £80m p.a. Staff numbers are seasonal by the nature of the business but are normally around 1,000 spread around the UK and Europe. For this reason alone the successful candidate may be based in Norfolk but will need to be prepared for considerable travel. The role involves handling people at all levels within the company and you must be used to working in such a diverse environment both geographically and in terms of attainment.
The strategies, growth and ultimate success of the company are reliant upon the recruitment, induction and on-going training of a quality, focused and passionate staff team working within the commercial boundaries and objectives as established by the Directors and the industry’s legal framework.

You will be an HR Generalist who thrives in an environment where you are more often working at the “coal face” rather than sitting behind a desk theorising about HR in its various guises. This requirement is seen as more important than residency in any particular geographical location. A doer rather than a theorist. Fully CIPD qualified with at least three years relevant experience in a similar multi-site, multi discipline environment ideally, but not essentially, travel based.
