· Assists the Regional Marketing Manager to develop and implement promotional programs for PR, advertising, direct mail, exhibitions, special promotions and seminars.
· Maintains a spend vs budget report for the region.
· Liaises with the Marcom department and media production departments to ensure that marketing / marcom materials are supplied correctly to meet target schedules
· Liaises with media and advertising agency to ensure correct and timely implementation of the UK media schedule.
· Responsible for in house generation of custom sales literature for distributors and wholesalers
· Liaises with external production and printing agencies to ensure locally generated materials are correctly produced, within budget, and on time.
· Collates marketing activity returns and supplies information to the Regional Marketing Manager to assist in the determining the effectiveness of campaigns.
· Responsible for the lead process via the CRM system forwarding leads for entry, assigning distributors and all actions prior to hand over of leads to the sales team. Where required, track lead processing procedure’s and produce reports based on activity levels per action.
· Orders local and central merchandising material. Requisition entry on the Oracle system for all marketing expenditure.
· Responsible for local web page content generation.
· Responsible for updating and maintaining third party web portals.
· Responsible for deployment of merchandising and other materials to the electrical wholesaler channel
· Reporting of electrical channel promotional activities.
· Assist with the location of venues and planning of seminars and conferences.
· Responsible for managing the distributor newsletter and communication pieces to Electrical wholesalers.
· To assist distributors and Industrial sales team with provision of sales literature and marcom materials.
· Assist with general office support for customers and distributors, and the sales procedures when required.
· Performs administrative tasks to support the Industrial Tools Sales and marketing Team e.g.: travel bookings, home/office purchases, administers distributor contract changes and distributor database, office post, redirecting mail, holiday bookings and parcel shipments etc.
· Other project work as defined by the Regional Marketing Manager.

Operates from general procedures and policies with moderate supervision. Must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and external contacts. Errors could affect the Company image and loss of income.
SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS REQUIRED
Good knowledge of Marcom techniques and procedures. Must possess computer literacy and excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines as required.
EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE
Vocational Education with minimum of 3 years experience in assisting in Sales and/or Marketing environment.
