| Responsible for overseeing the running of all electronic systems, within the company, including the Computer and Telecommunications systems. Responsible for being the first point of contact for all computer and telecommunication issues, if necessary forward calls onto relevant personnel for resolution. Otherwise ensure that all issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner causing minimal disruption. Trouble shooting of all hardware and software and problems as they arise, and taking appropriate action. Specification and purchasing of new equipment and consumables as required. Ongoing website and Intranet maintenance. Proactively reviewing all internal I.T. systems with managers to ensure that all department requirements are met. Responsible for the implementation of Microsoft AX 4.0 ERP system, coordinating with the third party consultant and internal staff as necessary, to ensure that all tasks required for implementation are completed as required. Responsible for legacy data extraction from the current Oracle based business information system to allow internal data cleanse and subsequent upload into Microsoft AX 4.0. In consultation with the third party consultant, generate an implementation schedule, ensuring that all departmental key users are aware of responsibilities, required tasks and milestone dates. |
