Expanding Group with a market leading Scheme is looking for a confident Insurance professional to assist in the further development of the Scheme and these products.
Main Responsibilities
-Produce New Business quotations within scheme parameters
-Calculate and invite renewal for existing clients
-Underwrite and process mid term adjustments
-Refer to insurers where agreed or necessary, always with suggested course of action
-Maintain professional working relationships with insurers, brokers, clients, trade associations and colleagues
-Ensure accuracy of documentation issued and data recorded in respect of clients’ insurance arrangements
-Identifying opportunities to cross sell new covers to existing clients
-Ensure that ISO procedures are met in respect of service delivery
-Ensure prompt and accurate debiting of premium in accordance with procedures
-Respond to credit control queries, both internal and external, within guidelines
-Participate in collective decision making, team planning and initiatives to achieve improvements in respect of quality, efficiency and effectiveness
Key Competencies
-Knowledge and understanding of the insurance market, insurance and legal principles and the ability to apply them. Understanding and application of common terminology and context in standard situations. Able to provide explanations to clients and brokers
-Knowledge and understanding of FSA requirements and the impact these have on the business
-Knowledge of some of the following: Property Damage, Business Interruption, Employers’, Public and Products Liability
