Key Account Executives assist the Key Account Managers to develop and maintain profitable relationships through the agreement, delivery and ownership of strategic development plans.
You will work on some of the largest and most high profile accounts, concentrating on general account governance and reporting for key strategic partners.
The role
• General account governance, reporting and compliance
• Understand the business plans of each key Partner & their marketplace
• Work within the Risk Management framework to ensure FSA compliance across all regulated activities, adhering to the Third Party Relationship Management process where required
• Provide guidance in relation to governance activity and delivery of awareness training
• Build and maintain relationships and act as focal/referral point to support development opportunities.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
• Sound knowledge of insurance principles and practice and the corporate governance and compliance obligations which relate to these processes
• Working knowledge of the financial services legal and regulatory framework including FSA requirements
• Highly motivated and capable of working across a matrix and within a team
• Logical and analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Ability to apply consultancy approach in order to make recommendations to decision-makers and influence business units/functions.
