Major local Company is continuing to expand and looking to recruit additional Claims Handlers for their busy and professional team.
ROLE PURPOSE
To consider, negotiate, process and settle Claims within the delegated authority and complying with the Industry Regulatory Codes of Practice.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. To validate, negotiate, process and settle claims to ensure customers receive accurate documentation within prescribed service standards.
2. Provide a high level of service when dealing with customers (internal and external), to support the achievement of team objectives and maximise customer satisfaction.
3. To ensure that customers are treated fairly.
4. To identify a complaint and recognise the significance of reportable and non-reportable complaints as defined by the Financial Services Authority. Once the complaint is identified, the jobholder should follow the local Complaints procedure.
5. Provide training when required, to increase skills, knowledge and technical competence within the team.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
1. Good negotiation skills
2. Excellent communication & influencing abilities
3. Ability to manage own time effectively and focus on what is important for the department.
4. Ability to work as part of the Claims team and to assist in meeting any team objectives. Demonstrating flexibility to help the team deal with peaks and troughs on workloads.
5. An awareness of customer expectations and requirements and being able to demonstrate a strong customer focus and dedication to providing excellent service.
