An expanding Group with interests in UK and Europe are looking to add another member to their successful Sales team.
This role is to develop prospective new customers in our Client’s preferred areas of business. You will continue to build their database of prospects, gather knowledge about prospects and gain their agreement for to offer them quotations. You will pass these warm leads to Sales colleagues to follow up.
Role:
• Make calls to prospective clients requesting opportunity to quote for their business`s insurances
• Validate and enhance information on the databases
• Follow up diaried leads of previously contacted clients
• Make follow-up calls in support of marketing campaigns
• Issue follow-up correspondence and marketing literature
Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in making outbound sales calls, ideally in an insurance environment
• Experience of working in a new business environment and working to targets
• Excellent personal organisation and administration
• Superb communication and negotiating skills
To be successful in this role candidates will need to learn about insurance issues for these client types. Training and support to achieve this will be provided.
