One of the world's leading insurance groups with a global network providing general insurance products to over 20 million people in around 30 countries worldwide is looking for a Team Leader within their Corporate Underwriting department.
This role involves leading and motivating a team to deliver high performance and achieve a range of objectives.
You will be responsible for agreeing objectives and setting development plans for team members, monitoring performance and taking remedial actions to resolve performance issues where necessary.
You will work in partnership with other team leaders in communicating and making agreed change happen across the business area to support the achievement of business goals.
You will work with the team to deliver a high level of performance in order to achieve business objectives.
As the team leader you will be managing the performance and development of your team to ensure productivity & quality goals are maximised.
You will need to ensure that your team members have the required skills to achieve performance targets.
You will manage customer expectations and internal relationships as well as leading change. You'll need to be a driven and motivated team player with a hardworking, can do attitude and a passion for delivering results.
You will be able to lead from the front and ideally have some leadership skills. Naturally you will be an expert communicator who can relate well to customers and colleagues alike.
