Based in Great Yarmouth, my client is looking for a new IT Manager to manage the team after internal promotions. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody already in a hands-on technical management role to make a step-up. Working on a range of Microsoft and bespoke systems, the successful candidate will be required to manage the team of Support Analysts, prioritising their workloads and delegating work to the most relevant team member. Within this role you will be required to work on the systems, dealing with highly technical issues, and liasing with the Senior Management team to explain progress, and look at improvements that could be made. Previous experience within an IT managers role is essential, as is a strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, to include, but not restricted to, Windows Servers, exchange, Active Directory and SQL. Ideally the candidate will have managed teams of between 4 and 10 people. It is also essential that you can be available to provide out of hours support to sites across the globe.
