| Function Proactive Selling to generate new business and grow existing customer base in order to achieve weekly/monthly sales targets. Daily Duties •Promote and grow the Endoscopy business within the UK •Actively promote and sell consumable products to new and existing clients to achieve repeat sales •Organise monthly sales mail shots / news letters •Follow up mail shots, issue quotations •Arrange Area Manager’s appointments / demos to support your market •Account manage all distributor consumable sales, specific to your market •Contact distributors on a regular basis to offer support and guidance •Find and establish new distributors, send info and arrange for Area Manager to visit, and encourage them to purchase and actively promote the Companies range of products •Update ACT with all activity •Monitor feedback from customers on quality of products, service and value •Take orders over the telephone and pass to the Sales Order Processor Additional Duties •Keep abreast of current legislation and regulatory information relevant to your market place •Source new products for endoscopy departments, carry out market research •Forward new product supplier details and product information to the Purchasing Manager •Be prepared to attend study days and exhibitions as and when required Skills & Abilities •Educated to degree level (preferred) •Be able to discuss / communicate rationally and professionally •Ensure good customer care •Strong sales and expense control ability •Have the ability to communicate on all levels •Self motivated with a positive outlook •Word and Excel to a competent level •Knowledge of ACT CRM / database an advantage •Acute understanding of time management •Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks •Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages Attributes •Strong telephone, verbal and written communication skills •Strong customer service orientation and a high level of professional integrity •Be able to think on your feet and solve problems in a practical way •Strong finisher - Ensure you always finish any job that you have started. Communicate with your team & customers •Reliable & Diligent team member This position offers OTE £50k-£60k uncapped |
