E-Learning Manager £38,000 - £43,000k

Vacancy Type: Permanent Location: Cambridge Salary: £38,000 - £43,000

My client is looking for an e-learning manager to develop a coherent framework of services, courses and resources to support teachers, candidates and learners preparing for Cambridge examinations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing expanded e-learning strategy, providing a comprehensive package of online and blended learning courses, online practice tests and mobile learning offerings.

You will work closely with strategic partners and other areas of the organisation to ensure that the e-learning strategy is implemented, and will identify means of harnessing resources to meet rapidly growing demands. You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and will have a thorough understanding of the concepts, application and opportunities offered by a diverse range of technologies. You will have a high level of expertise in the area of e-learning, Learning Management Systems and usability, and significant experience of having developed and run e-learning courses. You will also possess excellent communication, teamwork and time-management skills and be able to work well in a team within a busy office environment. Knowledge of language learning is essential and awareness of exams is desirable. A post graduate qualification in management or a system-related discipline would also be desirable, as would a Prince 2 qualification, and experience of working in an educational environment.
