Working closely with engineering teams, you'll aim to develop and drive a range of failure analysis tools, using them to help improve the manufacturing processes. You'll need a relevant engineering or science degree & several years experience in failure analysis work, along with experience of working in a clean room or similar hi-tech environment. The main activities will be to investigate & assign failure codes & types to devices under test & generate a Paneto of failure codes & break down yield for each type of device & display. You should have good experience of using analysis tools such as Optical Microscopes, Scanning electron microscopes (SEM) & Energy dispersive X-ray analysis(EDX)to identify root failure codes.
