Brilliant opportunity for an International Business Development Manager to work with a hugely successful Norfolk company offering an environmentally friendly service to local authorities and other large employers around the UK as well as directly to the public. So successful has the company become that there is an ever increasing demand for their products overseas and this new role will be filled by an individual who will be used to maximising such opportunities. In addition you will have an overseeing brief with the UK sales team being capable of managing, motivating and inspiring them to maximise the potential of the hundreds of new leads received every year.
You will probably come from a background of innovative technology or software sales and have a proven track record of outstanding success. You will be used to operating as part of a senior management team and very capable of negotiating at main board level both overseas and in the UK.
Sales strategy will be an important aspect of this role. With so many prospects presenting themselves you must be able to plan how to maximise the potential of the desirable accounts and identifying those where no amount of effort will ever make the account viable.
An environmentally friendly outlook will be crucial to your credibility in front of clients who will be of a similar mindset to have expressed and interest in your product in the first place. You won’t be able to “act green” – you’ll need to have a genuine green outlook.
