Our client is a national profitable charity who enables disabled and disadvantaged people to achieve their potential in work opportunities.
Your main duties will be to provide an In Work support service to those clients in employment through regular telephone contact, face to face visits, mentoring, job coaching and support in order to progress clients in to employment and maximise workplace retention.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to cope with a variety of challenging situations in a calm and sensitive manner. Have empathy and belief in the potential of people with disabilities and the ability to work as part of a team.
It is desirable the applicants have a good understanding of the local and national labour market and employment issues, current knowledge of welfare benefits and issues and knowledge if specialist employment areas such as Employment Law, Health & Safety, Equality and Diversity.
