We are lucky enough to be working with a national profitable charity who enable disabled and disadvantaged people to achieve their potential in work opportunities.
Your main duties will be to manage, develop and support a portfolio of job seekers, providing encouragement and co-ordination of activities that will ensure progression into suitable employment. To do this you will pro-actively promote the service, providing appropriate advice, guidance and information. You will develop and maintain an in depth knowledge of the local labour market, and establish effective working relationships with local employers, recruitment agencies, voluntary and private organisations and the job centre.
Out perfect candidate will have the ability to manage and support a case load, have good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and the ability to seek out and develop employment opportunities and successfully match job seekers to jobs. It is essential you have a positive attitude to disability, health problems and employment problems. Experience working with disadvantaged people and current knowledge of welfare benefits is desirable but not essential.
