Construction Project Manager required for Norfolk property development company operating throughout the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of development and refurbishment projects required to improve our clients commercial property from initial concept through to final delivery across the Portfolio.
You will be leading design teams and managing all aspects of construction projects as well as monitoring comprehensive financial control systems. You will be responsible for the delivery of projects on time, to cost and to quality and the integration of tenants and associated completion and handovers. It is envisaged that you will also be able to undertake feasibility studies. Managing the appointments ad monitoring the professional services such as External Project Managers/Consultants, M&E Service Engineers and Consultants, Quantity Surveyors, Architects and Structural Engineers.
Clearly you will need good interpersonal and negotiation skills, experience of communicating with a wide variety of people in calm and authoritative manner.
Practical and flexible – Ability to deal with a variety of situations. Good written communication. Self motivated. Understanding of contract protocols.
In terms of your qualifications you will certainly need a Degree or HND in Civil Engineering as well as RICS - Building Surveying or Construction related professional qualifications. You will also have 5 – 10 years experience in management of similar large scale infrastructure projects.
